Strawberry Shortcake Pretzel Bites
A thin crispy, salty, pretzel topped with sweetened cream cheese, a fresh strawberry slice, a wee bit of fresh basil and artfully covered in melted chocolate. A perfect bite.

Prep:
  1. In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla until is is smooth and all combined. You can do this with an electric beater or by hand.
  2. Slice the strawberries approximately 1/4″ thick. Slice the basil in thin strips.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips. In the microwave, this can be done in 10 second increments, checking and stirring after each time so it doesn’t burn. Or it can be melted over a bain marie.
Assembly:
  1. Spread some of the cream cheese mixture on top of each pretzel thin. Top with a strawberry, then a strip of basil. Drizzle with chocolate. Enjoy!
